How Boost actually works, station to station.
The first 5 minutes are free. After that it's £1.50 per 30 minutes, capped at £7.50 a day. The most a rental can ever cost is £22.50, however long you keep it.
Tap your contactless card or phone, or scan the QR code, at any Boost station. No app, no sign up.
It's a pre-authorisation hold, not a payment. When you return the power bank, the hold is finalised at the amount you actually owe and the rest is released back to you.
After 72 hours the rental ends automatically. The £25 becomes the purchase price and the power bank is yours to keep, with no further charges.
Any official Boost station, not just the one you rented from. Wait for the slot to confirm it's checked in before you walk away.
Contact us and we'll sort it out. You won't be charged for our equipment failing.
You need to be 16 or over to rent a power bank.
Return it to a station and take another one. If you do this within 5 minutes, the swap is free and you won't be charged for the faulty unit.
Tell us as soon as possible. We may keep the £25 in that case.

Halo is a privately owned software company founded in Suffolk. It builds workflow and service management software used by organisations worldwide, through HaloITSM, HaloPSA and HaloCRM.
Because Halo hires early and grows people from within, it needs people to know Halo exists. Boost puts stations in the places those future employees are already spending time, and gives them something useful in return for the introduction.
